課程概述 |
The course aims to teach students how a trading market operates and the function of a trading market in a financial centre. As an example of financial market development, the course will examine how Hong Kong became a financial centre, and how it regulates its securities exchanges. The course will further examine how financial transactions are linked to the real economy through initial public offerings and commodities derivatives. Lastly, the course will pay particular attention to the way in which new information technology is transforming the shape and function of the financial markets. |
